That's the question we're asking! Through How Will She Change The World? The Documentary, we get insight on the ways everyday girls can do just that...change her world, and society as a whole!

We realize that our teen population, in general, requires more than a discussion about consequences. Our girls need influencers. They need advocates who believe they have a chance in making a difference in this world. Every youth should see examples of what it means to live a fruitful and fulfilled life. Our teen girls need YOU!

This movie is beneficial for girls, boys, parents, educators, and those who want to take part in changing the lives of the next generation.

Young African Americans represented 65% of AIDS cases reported among 13-19 year olds in 2002; Latino teens represented 20%. In 2002, girls represented 51% of HIV cases reported among 13-19 year olds.

About 21% of teens between 18-24 reach 9th grade, but don't complete high school.

In 2005, 44.1% of sexually active female high school students did not use a condom at their most recent sexual intercourse.

1 out of 4 violent episodes are being perpetrated by teen girls, up from just a generation ago.

15% of sexual assault and rape victims are under age 12.

Girls ages 16-19 are 4 times more likely than the general population to be victims of rape, attempted rape, or sexual assault.

Teen girls in the bottom 20% of basic reading and math skills are five times more likely to become mothers over a two-year high school period than teen girls in the top 20%.

In 2005, 12% of high school females had sexual intercourse with four or more persons during their lifetime.

Annually, there are over 750,000 teen pregnancies. Eight in ten of these pregnancies are unintended and 81% are to unmarried teens.

An estimated half of all new HIV infections occur in people under age 25. Most young people are infected through sex.

Among 15-17-year olds, 51 percent say that they are personally concerned that they might “do more” sexually than they planned to because they were drinking or using drugs.

Nearly one in 10 (9%) 9-12th grade students report having been physically forced to have sexual intercourse when they did not want to at some point.

14.3% of sexually active girls attempted suicide while 5.1% of teens who are not sexually active have attempted suicide.

...Commit to talking to the young males in your life about the respect given to girls

...Commit to befriending a teen mother to help her realize her dreams are still attainable

What will these things do?

Maybe they'll help a girl apply to college
Maybe they'll help a girl become a better mother
Maybe they'll help a girl abstain from sex longer
Maybe they'll help a girl build a stronger sense of self-worth
Maybe they'll reduce her chances of dropping out, becoming pregnant, contracting HIV...or simply being a statistic - Maybe she'll be able to live her life without sexual abuse, violence, rape, drug addiction, and crime.

One thing we know...she can't AND shouldn't do it alone! We Women have a responsibility to help the next generation of Women.

Stiletto Girlz are changing the world! This is a new movement for teen girls. We've launched a nationwide crusade to champion girls from all walks of life - to combat the statistics - to change their world...our world!

Teen Girls are faced with more challenges today than ever before: sex-ploitation, pregnancy, bullying, crime, drugs, illiteracy, high school drop out rates, poverty, physical, emotional and sexual abuse...the list goes on! However, there's something both you and I can do!

We intend to nurture the lives of tomorrow's female leaders. We believe the success of all teens, relies within the adults, relatives, friends, teachers, and community leaders in their lives. Stiletto Girlz! is about the empowerment of teen girls, but equally about your involvement...and finding practical ways to help at least one girl become a productive woman, mother, and change agent for the future!

Why Focus On Girls?
We concentrate on the female populace because girls will bear the children of our future. Girls are at the highest risk for contracting HIV and committing suicide, and that doesn't have to be!

If we can reach one girl and increase her knowledge and self-esteem, she may make better choices, and in turn have an independent voice.

Does This Mean Boys Are Bad?
Certainly not! By empowering girls, we believe we are also educating and transforming the lives of boys! When girls have fun, are secure and smart, they set a positive example for all those they encounter.

Through this movement, we want to open the dialog with boys as well, and use this opportunity as a means of collaboration to help all youth become more productive
